Solferino residence is a Tuscan Farmhouse typical of those found in North Maremma. It was built around 1860 and was often the subject of the Macchiaoli painters such as Fattori, Borrani and Signorini. Recently it was completely restored and restructured and has benefited from the modernisation of its amenities. All rooms are equiped with air conditioning and heating, as well as telephones with direct dialing. It is possible to connect your computer to internet in your room or have it equiped with a fax machine, alternatively you may use our central computer to receive and send emails. We also provide wake up calls and security codes for the telephone in your room. There is a laundry room for the use of guests, here you may iron and hang out clothes to dry. You may request daily cleaning of your rooms. Bedlinen is supplied upon arrival and you may choose to have it changed as often as you wish. All appartments are fully furnished and have a TV and all kitchen utensils necessary. There is also medicine cabinet for guests should there be a need. The residence is surrounded by private grounds measuring 20,000 m2 and a car park shaded by trees. The residence is 900 m from the sea by the most direct road. We are 10 mins away from Cecina, 20 mins from Livorno, 30 mins from Pisa and Volterra, 40 mins from San Gimignano and Viareggio and 50 mins from Florence. There is a rental service for mountain bikes, scooters and cars.
